Mystified and Saddened

An adaptable message to your elected Texas officials:  I can’t begin to understand why Lt. Governor Patrick and Governor Abbott chose to make the “bathroom bill” part of their signature legislation. What humiliation for transgender people and for our state.  I oppose any form of unwarranted discrimination.  I oppose the invoking of “religious grounds” by politicians.   Our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they separated church and state. What the Lt. Governor and the Governor position under the “religious” umbrella is different from the religion I practice.
